This weeks faculty spotlight: Emily Montvilas
I have been at San Jose for 10 years, teaching mathematics and more recently, technology. I have also been an advisor for Student Council, National Junior Honor Society and MathCounts, as well as the yearbook editor. I truly enjoy what I do, but my favorite part is watching students grow throughout their time at San Jose – seeing them find their strengths and blossom!

It is hard to believe that I am celebrating my 10th year considering I only planned on living in Florida for a little while. As time went on at San Jose, the teachers, staff, students, and families, became a part of my family, so the thought of leaving just didn’t make sense anymore.

I grew up in Ohio, so I never attended San Jose, but San Jose is very similar to the Catholic grade school I attended. Although I always imagined my children, AJ and Atticus, growing up in our small town and attending the same school their dad and I did, San Jose has become the perfect fit for all of us and we are so blessed to call it home! - Ms Monty #GoTrojans #SanJosePride

This weeks Staff spotlight: THE Lisa Joyce!

I have worked at San Jose for 18 years! San Jose feels like home to me after growing up in the area and attending school here from Kindergarten to 8th grade. My children went to San Jose as well. I worked as a Kindergarten aide for many years and then moved to my administrative assistant position about 7 years ago. I love all of the staff that I am fortunate enough to work with every day and I have enjoyed getting to know all of the wonderful students and their families over the years! San Jose’s strong tradition of faith, high academic standards, and outstanding athletic competition make our school community an exciting place to be! What I love the most though, are all of the people here who make our school feel like a family…I feel blessed to be able to come to work here every day. - Lisa Joyce #GoTrojans #SanJosePride

#TestimonialTuesday We became members of San Jose Catholic Church in 2012. All three of our children have attended school at San Jose Catholic School. We immediately felt at home and knew this was the right place for our kids to be educated and grow closer to God. Our family has made lifelong friends by being a part of the San Jose community. -The Brady Family #sanjosecatholic #trojanpride
