Athletics

The Athletic Program at San Jose Catholic School is structured for our athletes at every level.

Trojan Athletics

The San Jose Catholic School Trojans compete in the Catholic Grade School Conference in the Diocese of St. Augustine. The Trojans play in Division 2 which is the upper level of the conference. The Trojans have a winning tradition.

Many of our student athletes go on to play junior varsity and varsity sports at Bishop Kenny, Bishop Snyder and many other surrounding area high schools.

Each athlete must have a sports physical and parental permission/release of liability form on file with the school office prior to participation in any sport. This form is a Diocese of St. Augustine form that is available on the web-site or in the school office. This form has to be signed in front of a notary public and the physical must be dated on or after June 1st prior to the start of the upcoming school year.

In addition, some sports require the purchase of personal uniform accessories. Some sports will have opportunities for the athlete’s parents to earn volunteer hours; preparing fields, working the gate, or manning the concession stands .

Intramural Sports are a variety of sports and activities designed for recreational athletes. Intramurals serve as an excellent tool for enjoying time with friends and assist with promoting a healthy lifestyle.
