San Jose Student Becomes an Eagle Scout

The highest award in scouting, the Eagle Scout, was recently awarded to a former San Jose student, Phillip Roussin.  Phillip graduated from San Jose in 2014 and has worked for years to reach this goal.  There are many requirements to achieve this award. Two of them are that scouts must earn 21 merit badges and conduct a service project that is helpful to a religious institution, school, or community. Phillip is in a very elite group as only approximately 5% of scouts make it to Eagle Scout. San Jose is very proud of Phillip and knows that he has learned much from this experience and will continue to be an asset to his community.
