STUDENT COUNCIL EXTENDS CANDY GRAM SALES TO MONDAY, 2/11! Student Council will be selling Valentine’s Day candy grams February 4-11. All treats will be peanut and gluten free. Proceeds will be donated to Lifeline Resources. Please return your order forms and payment ($1 each) to your child’s teacher by February 11. Be sure to print your child’s first and last name, as well as their homeroom. Please fill out a separate form for each recipient. Thank you for your continued support!
Student Council is sponsoring a bake sale Thursday & Friday, December 6 & 7. Baked goods will cost $0.50 or $1.00; peanut and gluten-free items will be available.
Student Council is also sponsoring an ugly sweater $1 jeans day Friday, December 7. Students who do not have an ugly sweater can wear Christmas colors or a holiday-themed shirt. All funds raised will be used to provide Christmas for a family or organization in need.

SPIRIT DAY DRESS CODE
Blue jeans, blue jean capri pants, uniform bottoms, or PE shorts with shirts/sweaters as specified in the flyer, are the appropriate attire for this day. Uniform shoes, athletic shoes, or boots are the only acceptable shoes. Jewelry guidelines still apply. Please note, a student may opt out of a Spirit Day and wear his/her school uniform.
No colored jeans, torn, or ripped jeans; No sweatpants, shorts, jeggings, or cargo pants.
No tank tops or spaghetti straps.
No part of the midriff may show at any time.
No cleavage can be showing.
No tight or clinging apparel.
No baseball caps or other hats and headwear.
T-shirts worn for special holidays may not have inappropriate logos, sayings, or graphics.
When in doubt about a clothing item, please check with a teacher or the administration.
Students who fail to dress appropriately for 2 Spirit Days will lose the privilege for the remainder of the year.
San Jose Catholic Student Council will be working with our church to collect food items for the Catholic Charities Farm Workers Ministry. They are asking for your kindness and generosity by donating food items such as: rice, canned vegetables, oil, sugar, coffee, and flour. In order to help meet the requested needs, each grade level has been assigned a food item to send in. See attached flyer for more details.
Please send your donated items into your child’s homeroom no later than Friday, November 9th.

Friday, October 5 Student Council is also sponsoring a $1 pink-out jeans day to raise funds for breast cancer awareness. Students may wear jeans, pink attire such as t-shirts, socks, hair bows, etc. Please no hats, suspenders, or tutus.
We look forward to a fun Friday with an important purpose. Let’s help wipe-out breast cancer!
