Did you see over 30 famous people touring our school campus Friday morning? Surprise! Those were FUTURE famous people that you saw; they were the Third Graders enjoying the annual Biography Book Parade. This very enjoyable promenade was the culmination of weeks of work. Together during class, the students read a teacher-chosen biography and wrote a book report. Next, each child chose his own famous person to study. After reading the selections, the students spent several days writing their own biography book report in class. Finally, the day arrived for the parade! On the bulletin board in the office hallway, you will soon see photographs of famous-yet-familiar personalities. You’ll wonder…is that one of our outstanding Third Grade students or is it the REAL Teddy Roosevelt? Steve Jobs? Sacagawea?
