San Jose Hosts the National Geography Bee

Thirty-four students competed on Friday, November 30th in a school-wide geography bee that is sponsored by National Geographic.   To compete in the bee, each student had to take a preliminary test and earn a top spot in his or her grade.  The winners this year include Sean M.(1st place), Michael S.(2nd place), and Blaine P.(3rd place).  Sean M. will take a test to qualify for the state competition.  Congratulations to all the participants on a great performance, and best of luck to Sean as he continues in the process.
