Open to Students in grades 4 – 8

Since 1999, San Jose Catholic Elementary School in Jacksonville, FL, has produced Broadway-style musicals each year, including Shrek, Annie, Fiddler on the Roof, The Music Man, The Wizard of Oz, Willy Wonka, The Little Mermaid and Alice in Wonderland — just to name a few. Each year, a portion of ticket sale proceeds are donated as scholarships to the local Catholic non-profit The Guardian Catholic Schools, an organization that financially supports and provides scholarships for Jacksonville’s two inner-city Catholic schools, Holy Rosary and St. Pius. These two schools serve some of the city’s most disadvantaged young people.
